Employment & Student Placement Opportunities

Kennedy House provides employment to about 120 individuals. The largest group is made up of full time youth workers, who work front-line in our various programs. Kennedy House offers opportunities for growth, learning and advancement; many of our current managers began their careers as front-line youth workers. Kennedy House also offers field placements to Child and Youth Work and Correctional Work students from Centennial College and Sir Sanford Fleming College. Placement students can be placed in any of our programs or classrooms. They get the opportunity to perform many of the same functions as our full time staff, under their direct supervision. Many placement students go on to part time and eventually full time employment with Kennedy House. Kennedy House also provides scholarships in a number of College programs.
