Our Programs

Kennedy House operates a number of residential group homes, providing care to hard-to-serve adolescent clients. Referrals to these programs come from Children's Aid Societies across Ontario. Kennedy House also operates a state-of-the-art secure custody program, serving the youth justice system, with referrals coming as a result of youth court charges.

All programs offer strong clinical programming. All feature highly structured milieus, with effective incentive programs, encouraging pro-social behaviour. Programs offer strong Cognitive Behavioural components, including anger management and problem solving. Counselling is provided by front-line staff, program social workers and other clinical team members. A consulting psychiatrist assesses and offers treatment to many of our clients. The clinical programming is supported through care and treatment offered in our school programs, as well as through group and recreational programming.
