Kennedy House Residential Services – Clinical Mandate
The following statements outline our clinical mandate.
The mandate and purpose of the clinical program at Kennedy House Youth Services is to attend to the individual needs of the resident in care. This is done by stabilizing the resident’s presenting behaviour, and working towards resolution of past identified difficulties, and developing new coping skills. The long term goal of the programs is to return the resident to the community with established and internalized coping abilities, and the life skills required for them to lead a productive life in society.
